Green Resources: One of the first things that we were aware of when considering a move to Grapevine was that we would have a home in an area that was located in an environmentally aware area. It was then we discovered that we could live happily while preserving the land use practices that were expected to take care of the land. One way that we have helped to preserve land use and practices is through the implementation of water management and water conservation plans. We have created a plan for each phase of our operations, which includes water usage, solid waste diversion and re-use diversion, and diversion at the plant for both water and electricity.

Other activities that we have implemented to preserve and protect land use and resources include having a recycling center on site. Through this program, we have been able to divert large sums of waste water to reuse in our facilities for the production of grape juice. A portion of the waste water is used as a water source for the purpose of water for irrigation, while the remainder is diverted to a filtration system that we have in place. This ensures that the water produced in the grape growing facility does not end up in a landfill.
